    • Coordinate with team members to gather updates, photos, and relevant information
    • Manage newsletter distribution through email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Substack, or similar tools)
    • Maintain and organize subscriber lists
    • Track basic performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates) and suggest improvements
    • Develop a consistent newsletter schedule (e.g., monthly or biweekly)

Preferred Skills (But Not Always Necessary)

    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Visual design experience
    • Photo editing for newsletter design
    • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Substack, etc.)
    • Basic layout or design skills (Canva or similar tools preferred)
    • Ability to translate scientific or technical content into engaging public-facing language
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Interest in wildlife conservation, science communication, or nonprofit outreach

    What You’ll Gain

    • Real-world experience in nonprofit and conservation communications
    • Opportunities to build a professional writing and communications portfolio
    • Experience with email marketing strategy and analytics
    • Networking within an international conservation community
    • The chance to directly support wildlife conservation efforts worldwide

    Time Commitment

This position is flexible and fully remote, making it ideal for students, early-career professionals, or anyone looking to contribute meaningfully to conservation efforts. Volunteers can contribute on a schedule that fits their availability.
