Description
Our Friendly Visitor Program connects eligible seniors with carefully screened volunteers - and so often, the bonds of friendship begin.
Or do you know someone who is lonely, isolated, or depressed that could benefit from more social interaction?
A Friendly Visitor Is:
- Willing to explore new interests and hobbies
- There for positive social support & interaction
- Willing to visit at least once a week
- Initiate contact to schedule visits
- Willing to dedicated their own time to visit
A Friendly Visitor Is Not:
- A housekeeper or caregiver; does not provide medical services
- A personal assistant
