AdvisaCare Hospice, who serves patients in the Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw, Genesee, Saginaw and Bay counties. No Healthcare Experience Needed! Must be 16+
- Hospice does not accept court ordered service hours*
Volunteer Jobs Urgently Needed:
- Sitting Bedside with Hospice Patients in Nursing Facilities and to help with activities.
- Providing Caregiver Relief inside Private Residences
- Pet Therapy (already licensed dogs) to visit with patients
- Play the Guitar Bedside of hospice patients
- Bereavement Volunteer Support Calls to Family & Assisting with Grief Groups
- Pre-Med Students who want to learn about gerontology patient care
- Office and event help!
- Veterans Helping Veterans, Veterans coffee and conversation groups, pinning ceremonies, veterans' events
