    Description

    Peer-to-Peer Leader

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. This course is taught by trained leaders and is a safe, confidential space that provides an opportunity for mutual support and growth. Experience compassion and understanding from people who relate to your experiences. Every time you hold space for someone, you make more room for your own growth.

To Become a Leader, You Must:

    • Have lived experience with a mental health condition.
    • Participate in a two-day training.
    • Live in the northern Chicago land area.
    • Be 18+.
    • Commit to teach an 8-week class.
