Shape the Future of the Arts at the Dunes Summer Theatre! Join Our Board of Directors

The Dunes Arts Foundation, home to the historic Dunes Summer Theatre, is seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of arts and culture in our community while helping us build sustainable growth and deepen our impact.

We’re especially looking for individuals with expertise in the following areas:

• Legal - Provide guidance on contracts, governance, and compliance.
• Public Relations (PR) - Help elevate our visibility and build relationships with media outlets.
• Grant Writing - Support efforts to secure funding through grants and proposals.
• Strategic Marketing - Assist in creating long-term marketing goals and brand strategy.
• Marketing Analysis - Bring insight-driven decision-making to our marketing efforts.
• Social Media - Enhance our digital presence and engagement.
• Local Government Connections - Help us strengthen ties and partnerships within the community.
• Community Ambassadors / Fund Development - Be a champion of our mission and support fundraising initiatives.

Ideal candidates believe in the transformative power of the arts, bring diverse experiences and perspectives, and are willing to contribute time, skills, and passion. Prior board experience is welcome but not required.

Commitment:

Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings, serve on at least one committee, and support fundraising and community engagement events.
