    Description

    H.E.E.L.O Inc. coordinates the annual Juneteenth celebration in Hutchinson, KS. Juneteenth National Independence Day commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans, and also celebrates African-American culture.

    Duties:

    Check-In volunteers needed at registration for scheduled appointments and walk-ins, use a computer system and will check donor ID's.

    Greeters will greet donors and assist with seating until donor is called for screening.

    Qualifications:

    Good communication and social skills. Willing to engage with the community. For blood donor check-in volunteers, previous experience doing this is a plus but isn't required. All volunteers must have customer service experience, a friendly personality and enjoy working with the community.
