    Volunteer Board Member – Fundraising & Partnerships

    Beyond Nations is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving vulnerable children, widows, and families in Uganda through education, economic empowerment, and community development initiatives. We currently support approximately 270 children and families through our programs in Uganda.

    We are seeking mission-driven professionals to join our Board of Directors and help us build sustainable partnerships and long-term support in the United States.

    Position Summary

    The Volunteer Board Member – Fundraising & Partnerships will provide strategic guidance, make introductions, and help strengthen the organization's fundraising and partnership efforts.

    This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to use their experience, networks, and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact internationally.

    Responsibilities

    • Attend quarterly virtual board meetings.
    • Serve as an ambassador for Beyond Nations.
    • Help identify potential donors, partners, and supporters.
    • Make introductions to churches, businesses, foundations, or community organizations when possible.
    • Provide strategic advice and guidance.
    • Support the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in nonprofit leadership, business, fundraising, education, ministry, marketing, or community engagement.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Passion for serving vulnerable children and families.
    • Willingness to contribute ideas and connections.

    Fundraising experience is helpful but not required.
