The 17th Annual St. Johns Bizarre is coming up Saturday, May 9! This FREE music festival happens every year on the Saturday before Mother's Day — before, during and after the St. Johns Parade! Here's the link: volunteer link
The festival is entirely run by volunteers and it is actually pretty fun. Multiple stages of free music, a 200 booth street fair, streets closed off to all but foot traffic: It's known as St. Johns Day!
There are short shifts (2 to 2.5 hours) for everything from putting up textile art on trees (Friday night, the 8th) to being a beer garden attendant to setting up traffic barricades to helping us set up or put away the Bizarre for next year.
As a thank you for giving your time, you also will get a stainless steel cup with this year's art on it — a true collector's item. Bonus booty: for shifts after 6 p.m., we'll add in a tote bag with this year's awesome artwork.

Thanks again!

The square is located on the west side of the St Johns Bridge - we're hard to miss! The downtown corridor or St Johns is closed down to all cars and traffic, busses are routed around the event. We recommend public transportation as street parking is crowded and outside the event area.
Please visit our webpage at www.stjohnsbizarre.com and click on the volunteer link to sign up. There are task and shift descriptions for each volunteer spot. We look forward to working with you on St Johns best day of the year!
