Sponsor Coordinator for Moroccan Dog Refuge (remote)

Beldi Dog Rescue is a small dog rescue in the Rif Mountains in northern Morocco. We provide street

dogs with a safe place, proper care and a second chance, thanks to our amazing donors and

sponsors.

What will you do?

We’re looking for someone who helps us stay in touch with the wonderful people who sponsor and

support our dogs.

It’s a flexible commitment of around 2–4 hours a week. There’s no need to be available at a

specific time, you can fit the tasks around your own schedule. The role is completely remote, and

you’ll work closely with Beldi’s founder, operations manager and board members.

Your main tasks will be:

• Keeping in touch by email with our regular sponsors and donors
• Welcoming new sponsors
• Sharing photos, updates and little stories about sponsored dogs
• Answering the occasional question from a sponsor
• Keeping our sponsor list up to date
• Staying in touch with our team in Morocco to collect updates and photos
• Letting people know when a dog is looking for a sponsor
• And if you enjoy it, we’d like you to think along with us about new sponsorship opportunities or

ways to find more sponsors. This is not a fixed part of the role - just something you can get

involved in if you feel like it.

The role is mainly about keeping things organised and maintaining a warm connection with our sponsors.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who:

• Loves dogs
• Enjoys friendly contact with people
• Is warm, approachable and reliable
• Has good written English
• Is reasonably organised
• Can work independently
• Has a little time each week to dedicate to Beldi Dog Rescue
• You don’t need to be a fundraiser or have experience in animal rescue. We’ll make sure you

have everything you need to get started.

Who are we?

Beldi Refuge is located in the Rif Mountains, in the Chefchaouen region of northern Morocco. We

are dedicated to helping stray dogs who have been abandoned, injured or cannot survive on the

streets. At Beldi refuge dogs that often had a difficult life on the streets, get a safe place and a

chance for a better life.

Whenever possible, we look for loving homes for them. For those who stay with us, we make sure

they are safe, cared for and loved.

Our sponsors and donors make all of this possible. As Sponsor Coordinator, you’ll simply help keep

that connection going between the people who support Beldi Refuge and the dogs they care about.
