    Engineer's Week (Saturday, February 14th, 2026) Shift 1

    Celebrate National Engineers Week with the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History at a festival filled with fun engineering activities. Join the celebration at the Museum and interact with real engineers, plus enjoy activities and projects for all ages!

    List of activities:

    • Take Apart: Guests will get the opportunity to learn about reverse engineering and take apart old, donated technology.
    • Happy City: Guests will get to make a building for our small city made from recycled materials.
    • Robot Exploration: Guests will get to play with simple machines and robots.
    • Are They Conductive?: Guests will be challenged to figure out what kinds of rocks are conductive by testing them on an electrical circuit.
    • Recycled Paper Roller Coaster: Guests can build a ball roller coaster.
    • Recycled Paper Circuit Valentine's Cards: Guests can make Valentine’s Cards using recycled Plastic Bottle Lids.
    • Recycled Paper Flowers: Guests can make flowers out of old paper to give out for Valentine's Day.
