The Black Business Exchange (BBX) is a nonprofit platform dedicated to increasing visibility, access, and opportunity for Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Our mission is to strengthen Black economic ecosystems through education, exposure, and community-driven support.

Volunteer Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated volunteer to support BBX’s social media presence and research efforts. This role plays a key part in helping us share consistent, meaningful content that highlights Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and economic issues impacting our communities.

What You’ll Do

• Help research Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and relevant economic topics
• Assist with identifying content ideas aligned with BBX’s mission
• Support posting or organizing content across social media platforms
• Help amplify BBX campaigns, features, and educational content
• Contribute ideas that help grow awareness, engagement, and impact

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone passionate about supporting Black-owned businesses and economic equity
• Strong interest in social media, storytelling, or digital research
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• Prior social media experience is helpful but not required
