Join Us in Changing Lives:

Hollywood PAL is committed to supporting low-income youth in the Hollywood Community. By volunteering, you become a beacon of hope for these amazing kids

What's Required:

• Commitment: Available to meet twice a week for one-hour sessions. Remain consistent in meeting for sessions and commitment of at least 4 months
• Subject Expertise: Proficient and confident in the subject you will be tutoring
• Motivation: A genuine interest in helping students succeed academically and further their skills in the subject areas they are struggling with
• Communication Skills: Be able to explain concepts clearly and adapt an effective teaching style/plan to meet the needs of the student. Ability to communicate with the tutoring coordinator
• Able to utilize Zoom effectively to meet for all tutoring sessions

Tutoring Details:

Flexible Hours: Mondays to Thursdays 4:00 to 7:00pm

kids: kindergarten to 12th grade
