If you care about stray animals and animal welfare and want to help at the leadership level without a heavy time load we'd love to hear from you.

United Stray of USA is a national animal welfare nonprofit that funds and supports rescues, shelters, sanctuaries, cat colonies and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) neighborhood caregivers helping stray cats, dogs, rescue horses, and other animals in crisis. We are in our foundation-building stage preparing for our 501(c)(3) and need a few more thoughtful board members to help us do it well.

Time: 1-3 hours per month (mostly email and short virtual communication).

Responsibilities: Light governance, review key documents, and share expertise as we launch.

Qualifications: A good fit if you have some experience with animal welfare and/or legal, financial or marketing skills, nonprofits -- but most importantly a genuine heart for this mission.

This is a volunteer role. No paycheck, no daily rescue shifts -- just a chance to help strengthen the backbone of those individuals or organizations who are serving on the front line.
