    Volunteer Webmaster – Help Grow North Carolina's Film Industry

    Organization: Eno River Media

    Location: Remote (North Carolina preferred, but all qualified applicants are welcome)

    Commitment: Flexible, approximately 3–8 hours per week

    About Eno River Media

    Eno River Media is a North Carolina-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1999. Our mission is simple:

    Working with a network of industry professionals, Eno River Media strives to grow a stronger North Carolina film economy through advocacy.

    Through advocacy, educational initiatives, industry networking, and programs such as the North Carolina Film Festival, we work to strengthen opportunities for filmmakers and creative professionals across the state.

    Position Summary

    Eno River Media is seeking an additional Volunteer Webmaster to join our website team. This position works alongside our existing webmaster(s) to help maintain, improve, and expand the organization's growing online presence.

    As ERM continues to develop new initiatives and resources, we are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving user experiences, and helping a nonprofit organization make a greater impact.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update the Eno River Media website
    • Create new pages for organizational programs and initiatives
    • Improve website usability and navigation
    • Assist with search engine optimization (SEO)
    • Ensure website security and software updates
    • Troubleshoot technical issues
    • Work with ERM leadership to implement new ideas and projects
    • Recommend improvements that enhance the visitor experience

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience managing WordPress websites (preferred)
    • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
    • Basic understanding of responsive web design
    • Familiarity with website security and backups
    • Experience with SEO best practices
    • Ability to communicate clearly and work independently
    • Passion for the arts, nonprofit organizations, or the film industry
