    Social Media & Event Planning Coordinator (Technology Adoption & Community Engagement)

    We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media and Event Planning Coordinator to promote awareness and drive adoption of our technology platform through engaging events and strategic social media outreach. This role will play a key part in building community interest, increasing user participation, and strengthening our digital presence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person and virtual events to promote platform adoption
    • Develop and manage social media content across key platforms (e.g., Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook)
    • Create campaigns highlighting platform features, success stories, and community impact
    • Engage with users and community partners online and at events
    • Track and report on engagement and adoption metrics
    • Collaborate with leadership, product, and outreach teams
    • Coordinate event logistics, promotion, and follow-up activities

    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience in social media management, event planning, or community outreach
    • Strong writing, communication, and content creation skills
    • Familiarity with digital marketing and analytics tools
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
    • Highly organized, creative, and self-motivated
    • Passion for community engagement and technology for good

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience promoting nonprofit or civic technology platforms
    • Graphic design or video editing skills
    • Experience working with volunteers or grassroots organizations
