Data Center Contact Administrator

Data Center proposals are popping up all across Pennsylvania. Sierra Club is receiving contacts from concerned residents, activist groups, local government officials, media and allied organizations.

The Sierra Club PA Chapter and Groups have several staff and volunteers working on developing resources to share with all, but the landscape is a bit dynamic.

We are looking for a volunteer that is able to review new contact intake (usually a webform submission) and then help make the connection to the appropriate contact within the Sierra Club within 24 hours. And also help track these projects and contacts.

The Data Center Contact Admin will work remotely via email and phone. Their area of focus may be regional or across Pennsylvania. There is room for several volunteers in this role to help with volume and coverage when volunteers are unavailable.

Familiarity with Google Digital Tools and internet searching is helpful.

Some training about the current data center landscape and Sierra Club contacts will be needed, but nothing extensive.

Sierra Club membership is encouraged.
