Help Seniors Grocery Shop in Escondido

ElderHelp is a local nonprofit organization that supports seniors and their independence. We are expanding services to Escondido and we're looking for volunteers to help seniors with grocery shopping in the area. We already have clients enrolled!

How does it work?

We'll match you with a senior who is requesting help with grocery shopping. We'll meet you at the senior's home for an initial introduction. Once matched, these visits would take place every other week for about 2 hours each. These visits not only help seniors nutritionally, but also have a positive impact on their overall health and wellbeing by keeping them socially connected. Volunteers also report that they benefit greatly from these visits too!
