    Organization Overview

    Sustainable Climate and Women Empowerment Initiative (SCWEI) is a Pakistan-based nonprofit organization working to promote climate resilience, women empowerment, sustainable community development, vocational skills training, and environmental awareness initiatives. SCWEI focuses on supporting vulnerable communities through practical, community-driven solutions that contribute to long-term social and environmental impact.

    Position Summary

    SCWEI is seeking a passionate and motivated Remote Volunteer Fundraising Intern to support the organization’s fundraising, donor outreach, and resource mobilization efforts. This opportunity is ideal for students, graduates, aspiring nonprofit professionals, and individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the development and humanitarian sector.

    The selected volunteer will contribute to meaningful initiatives related to climate action, women empowerment, community development, and sustainable social impact projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research potential donors, grants, and funding opportunities
    • Support fundraising campaigns and donor outreach activities
    • Assist in proposal writing and concept note development
    • Help identify partnership and collaboration opportunities
    • Support preparation of fundraising and communication materials
    • Conduct online research related to nonprofit funding opportunities
    • Assist SCWEI in strengthening its international visibility and outreach
    • Participate in virtual coordination and brainstorming sessions when required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Interest in fundraising, nonprofit work, climate action, or women empowerment
    • Strong communication and research skills
    • Basic understanding of NGOs, social impact, or community development work
    • Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and online research tools
    • Proposal writing, social media, or fundraising experience will be considered an advantage
