    Description

Advocates for Nursing Home Residents Needed

Volunteer Ombudsmen are needed to advocate for, educate, and empower residents in nursing homes and assisted living residences. We’re currently looking for compassionate people to join our Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program who will advocate for the rights of residents, choices in care, and compassionate treatment.

As an Ombudsman Associate, you will make regular presence visits to an assigned nursing home in your community and become a voice for the residents we serve. This on-going opportunity gives you the flexibility to make visits on your own schedule. Advocates receive initial training and on-going support from local Ombudsman Staff to make impactful changes in the lives of the people we serve in long-term care.
