Job Description:

As a volunteer in website development, SEO optimization, and affiliate program support, you will play a crucial role in expanding our online presence, reaching a wider audience, and raising funds to support the operations of Faeryland's Farm. Your expertise will empower our organization to educate the public and inspire them to contribute towards creating a better world for animals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Development:

- Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders to ensure the website reflects the mission, vision, and values of Faeryland's Farm.

- Develop and enhance website layout, features, and functionalities using relevant programming languages and content management systems (CMS).

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, ensuring website security, speed, and functionality.

2. SEO Optimization:

- Conduct keyword research and implement effective on-page and off-page optimization strategies to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.

- Optimize website content, meta descriptions, headers, and URLs to enhance organic search traffic and improve user experience.

- Monitor website analytics and generate reports to track progress and identify opportunities for further optimization.

3. Affiliate Program Support:

- Research, identify, and establish partnerships with relevant affiliate programs and organizations aligned with Faeryland's Farm's values.

- Develop and implement strategies to recruit, engage, and retain affiliate partners.

- Assist in creating promotional materials, tracking performance, and managing commission payouts for affiliates.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience or formal education in website development, SEO, and affiliate program management is highly desirable.

- Proficient in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla).

- Demonstrated understanding of SEO best practices and proven experience in improving website rankings.

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on performance metrics.

- Passionate about animal welfare and conservation efforts.

Time Commitment:

- The time commitment is flexible and can be scheduled based on your availability.

- We expect a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week, with a minimum volunteer duration of 3 months.
