Volunteer Director of Digital Marketing & Church Engagement

Help Pastors Move from Church-Centered Ministry to Disciple-Making

Many pastors already believe in disciple-making. What they often need is a trusted guide

who can help them envision a practical, hopeful path forward.

This role exists to build relationships, create meaningful conversations,

and help church leaders take courageous next steps toward becoming disciple-making churches.

    About the Role

We are seeking a relational, mission-driven volunteer who combines digital marketing expertise with a genuine love for pastors and church leaders.

This is not primarily a marketing position. It is a Kingdom-building role focused on connecting with pastors, developing trust, telling compelling stories, and helping leaders discover practical disciple-making solutions for their churches.

    What You'll Do

      • Build authentic relationships with pastors, church leaders, and ministry influencers.
      • Develop digital marketing campaigns that generate meaningful conversations, not just clicks.
      • Create content, stories, emails, videos, and social media that inspire disciple-making.
      • Promote disciple-making pathways, coaching opportunities, mentoring relationships, and leadership development resources.
      • Help grow online communities where church leaders can learn from one another.
      • Nurture leaders through a journey from interest to action.
      • Communicate with grace, humility, and a deep respect for the realities pastors face every day.

    Who We're Looking For

    The ideal candidate is:

    • Passionate about Jesus and the Great Commission.
    • A gifted relationship builder and communicator.
    • Experienced in digital marketing, social media, email marketing, or content creation.
    • Comfortable engaging pastors and church leaders.
    • Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, and an excellent listener.
    • Able to communicate difficult change without creating defensiveness.
    • Excited about helping churches become disciple-making ecosystems.

    Preferred Experience

    • Church or ministry leadership experience
    • Coaching, mentoring, or discipleship ministry
    • CRM or marketing automation platforms
    • Community building and online engagement
    • Familiarity with disciple-making movements and leadership development

    Time Commitment

    5-15 hours per week (flexible)

    Location: Remote

    Compensation: Volunteer Position

    Why This Matters

You will help encourage pastors who are carrying significant responsibilities while seeking to faithfully follow Christ's command to make disciples. Your work will help leaders move beyond attendance-focused metrics toward cultures where disciples make disciples, leaders develop leaders, and multiplication becomes normal.
