Description

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic person to lead monthly or bimonthly arts and crafts activities for our Satellite Site at JFK Towers in North Durham. We will provide materials, but the volunteer will choose or design the craft, create a model to share with the class, and help the class participants complete their craft. Crafts can be seasonal and themed, but do not have to be. Examples of previous and potential crafts include wreath making, pumpkin carving, card making, crochet, origami, watercolor painting, collage making, and more. Staff will be on site for assistance.

Directions

On arrival an access code will be needed to enter the building as it is a residence as well as activity site. The space is down the hall to the right past the office. Free parking is available onsite.
