Leadership & Professional Development Program Volunteer

NAAAP-Chicago is seeking volunteers to serve on our Leadership & Professional Development Program Committee. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a career in Program Management by accomplishing independent tasks.

We are in search of an individual who embodies both organization and motivation-a go-getter who thrives on completing tasks with minimal supervision and eagerly seizes opportunities to take initiative. We seek someone who embraces innovation and is unafraid to venture into uncharted territory. Someone who can help us make the NAAAP brand one of high potential and make an impact in the Asian American community.

This is primarily a virtual opportunity, with some on-site components. If you do not currently reside in Chicago, familiarity with the city is required to participate.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Attend regular program meetings.
• Provide regular updates on the status of tasks and projects.
• Plan events and activities that support the program’s mission.
• Manage long-term goals and track key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with other committees as needed, including social media, marketing, and more.
