    Description

Join our Development Committee to help keep community programming free & accessible

The New Cumberland Collective is a grassroots nonprofit working to make our corner of Central Pennsylvania more connected, creative, and alive. We believe communities are stronger when neighbors know each other, when public spaces feel worth spending time in, and when people don't have to wait for permission to start something good.

    We organize around four goals:

    • Vibrant public spaces — Parks, sidewalks, and shared spaces that draw people in through art, music, and presence.
    • Meaningful social connection — Opportunities for strangers to become neighbors and for loneliness to have an antidote.
    • Thriving local creativity — A scene where artists and makers can do their work, get supported fairly, and find audiences.
    • Community-led action — More people starting things—clubs, projects, events—without waiting for an organization to do it for them.

We're looking for people to join our Development Committee and help us build sustainable funding so we can keep this work accessible to everyone (no one turned away for lack of funds). You might help with donor outreach, grant research, sponsorship cultivation, or brainstorming creative fundraising ideas.
