    Description

    We are seeking passionate and organized Program Coordinators to join Raising a Scholar and help manage our educational initiatives. The Program Coordinator will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that empower underserved students and promote equitable access to quality education. This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance project management with community engagement, ensuring that our programs run smoothly and achieve meaningful outcomes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the day-to-day execution of tutoring sessions, ensuring consistency and smooth delivery
    • Manage and support volunteer tutors, including attendance, engagement, and overall preparedness
    • Evaluate tutor performance and provide feedback, guidance, and follow-up where needed
    • Serve as the primary liaison between Raising a Scholar and local partner organizations
    • Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain program effectiveness
    • Track program activity and share concise updates with the RAS leadership team

    Note: These responsibilities are not exhaustive and may evolve as the program continues to grow.

    Compensation

    This is a volunteer position for the first year as the program continues to grow. A stipend will be introduced after the first year, based on program development and performance.
