    Description

    Resilience offers internship programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement

    Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an unpaid Project Manager Intern. In this role, you will work closely with the executive team of directors to contribute to the development and success of Resilience, Inc. You will assist in overseeing various projects, conducting meetings, and ensuring the organization's goals are being achieved. This internship offers valuable experience in project management and provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the executive team of directors to create an outstanding and high-performing work environment.
    • Assist in the development of Resilience, Inc. by working closely with other leaders, directors, and project managers.
    • Conduct weekly meetings to review the progress of each department, set goals, and develop strategies and plans aligned with the organization's mission.
    • Familiarize yourself with the mission of Resilience, Inc. and actively work towards its achievement.
    • Review and analyze business data to identify trends and opportunities for improving staff engagement, performance, and experience.
    • Provide support to staff through training, facilitation, and effective communication.
    • Demonstrate your passion for the organization's mission and contribute to a positive work culture.
    • Pay attention to details and ensure accuracy in project management activities.
    • Communicate consistently and effectively with team members to maintain alignment and progress.
    • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and improve critical skills related to project management.
    • Apply problem-solving skills to address challenges and find innovative solutions.

    Preferred Qualities:

    • Previous experience in leadership or management is preferred.
    • Familiarity with attracting, developing, and motivating employees, adapting to change, and building collaborative relationships.
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrate reliability, and be punctual.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality in project management.
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
    • Eagerness to learn and openness to improving critical skills related to project management.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address challenges and find effective solutions.

    Please note that this is an unpaid internship position aimed at providing practical experience in project management and contributing to the success of Resilience, Inc. As an unpaid Project Manager Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the executive team, gain valuable skills in project management, and make a meaningful impact on the organization's mission.
