Typical patient visit: about 1 hour per week per patient — but you choose your level of involvement. Some volunteers visit multiple patients, while others help in the office or support events, giving as much time as they’re able.

Your time, presence, and compassion can change someone’s final chapter. As an End-of-Life Support Volunteer, you’ll help patients feel seen, valued, and less alone during one of the most meaningful times of their lives.

Whether you’re sharing stories, offering a listening ear, reading aloud, or simply sitting together in peaceful silence — your presence brings comfort, dignity, and connection when it matters most.

Even one to two hours a week can make a lasting impact on a patient and their family.
