    Description

    Twin Cities Pride Tabling Volunteer

Are you passionate about advancing & protecting sexual and reproductive health care for all? Do you enjoy connecting with others? Join us as a Community Event Tabling Volunteer this summer!

Help represent Planned Parenthood North Central States (PPNCS) and raise awareness of our services and programing at various neighborhood and community tabling events/festivals. Volunteers will Table alongside PPNCS staff to provide community outreach and resource information.

We are looking for volunteers both the MNSOC Youth Pride and the Twin Cities Pride Festival. Volunteer shifts are approx. 2 hours:

    • MNSOC Youth Pride Thursday May 28th from 3pm to 7pm (full 4 hour shift)
    • Twin Cities Pride Saturday June 27th, 9am to 7:30
    • Twin Cities Pride Sunday June 28th 9am to 6:30pm

Community Event Tabling Volunteers will help make sure that the Planned Parenthood booth area stays organized and that resources remain available by tidying up the table and replenishing supplies when they run low. You will also engage with the community as they stop by the booth-handing out swag, brochures, and responding to questions when asked.

We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about the work of PPNCS and comfortable sitting/standing at our table and speaking to people at resource fairs and events. You will be Tabling alongside staff and will not be expected to know all the answers someone might ask. More training and information is provided before the event to help prepare you for the event and community resources available.

To get started, complete our online Volunteer Interest Form and sign-up for an upcoming General Volunteer Orientation!
