    Description

Grocery Shopper for Seniors - Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to grocery shop for older homebound adults to make sure they have access to nutrition. All senior clients live in northeast San Antonio. Volunteer calls client and gets shopping list, buys the items, delivers and gets reimbursed immediately by client. You will also be reimbursed for mileage after you turn in mileage log to administrator. If clients are mobile, it is up to you whether you have enough time to take them along to the store. Opportunities are weekdays as well as weekends, depending on your schedule and the client need. It's just like helping a family member. Both client and volunteer benefit from this opportunity, and most times, friendships are formed!
