Founded by a data science executive, Branch Four is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings data and technology expertise directly to local newsrooms. We help fact-driven news organizations publish investigative stories, grow their audiences, and build informative products to serve communities for the long-haul.

Volunteer with us to strengthen local journalism from the ground up!

What You'll Do:

• Design and architect applications based on project requirements and user needs.
• Develop, test, and deploy web and mobile-friendly applications.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Familiarity with front end frameworks like Angular or React

Time Commitment: 5–7 hours a week for 2 months, with the option to extend.
