    Description

    Kirkwood Park - Honeysuckle Hack

Help us hack away invasive honeysuckle from Kirkwood Park! We’ll meet in the parking lot near Campbell Pavilion and work in the vicinity of the Scout Shelter.

No experience necessary, park staff will assist with identification and disposal. Honeysuckle removal often involves loppers & a bit of strength. If that’s tough for you, we have a few back-up tasks for you. Just come ready to help out!

Volunteers should bring water, wear closed toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Long pants are encouraged as we will be working in a denser area.
