Role Overview

The Outreach & Admissions Coordinator plays a key role in connecting Outcome School with youth, families, schools, and community partners. This volunteer ensures that prospective students understand our programs, feel welcomed, and receive the support they need to enroll successfully.

This role blends community outreach, admissions coordination, communication, and relationship building — ideal for someone who is passionate about expanding access to education and uplifting young people.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outreach & Community Engagement

• Build relationships with youth‑serving organizations, schools, nonprofits, and community partners.
• Conduct outreach to students and families through calls, emails, social media, and community networks.
• Represent Outcome School at virtual or in‑person youth info sessions on weekends when available.
• Share program updates, deadlines, and opportunities with partners and prospective students.

1. Admissions Coordination

• Guide prospective students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Respond to questions about program offerings, schedules, expectations, and eligibility.
• Track applications, follow up with interested students, and ensure timely communication.
• Support early‑application outreach and help maintain strong referral pipelines.

1. Student Support During Onboarding

• Welcome new students and help them understand program expectations and milestones.
• Ensure students complete onboarding steps such as orientation, tech setup, and required forms.
• Provide encouragement and clarity to help students feel confident entering the program.

1. Data, Organization & Process Improvement

• Maintain organized records of outreach activities, admissions data, and partner contacts.
• Track key metrics such as inquiries, applications, conversions, and referral sources.
• Identify opportunities to improve outreach strategies and admissions workflows.
• Contribute to a culture of operational excellence, transparency, and youth‑centered design.
