    Description

    Job Overview:

    The IAM Security Specialist works within the security and business discipline of Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role ensures that the right people and machines have access to the right assets at the right time, maintaining the security and efficiency of the organization's digital assets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing User Accounts: Create, provision, secure, and revoke user accounts throughout their lifecycle, utilizing Google Workspace, Slack, and Flowlu.
    • Developing Frameworks: Assist in development and implementation of IAM frameworks, guidelines, and best practices to ensure information integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
    • Troubleshooting: First point of contact for resolving access outages and other IAM-related issues.
    • Defining Standards: Assist in ensuring adherence to IAM standards and procedures.
    • Preparing Reports: Generate reports on access requests, user provisioning, audits, and more.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Basic knowledge of systems and user account management.
    • Familiarity with Google Workspace.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting access issues.
    • ability to follow escalation procedures.
    • Ability to quickly learn policies, procedures, and tools.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Good communication skills to inform users and leadership of IAM policies and procedures.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Minimum [one of the following]:
    • 1-2 years of work experience in IT
    • 5 years education/non-work related IT experience
    • Knowledge of NIST Frameworks
