    Description

    Cardinal Hospice Care is now looking for volunteers who can assist our Bereavement Coordinator. As a Bereavement Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Bereavement Coordinator in providing compassionate care to families coping with the loss of a loved one.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assisting with phone calls to check on bereaved families.
    • Preparing and mailing condolence cards, newsletters, and resources.
    • Helping maintain accurate records of outreach efforts.
    • Providing a listening ear and emotional support as needed.

    This position requires empathy, good communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with care. Training and ongoing support will be provided.

    • Some tasks may be able to be completed virtually.
