    Description

    Museum Tour Guide/Docent

Docents form an essential part of the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum’s mission to share the Chinese American experience and Chinese culture with our community.

Docents will help facilitate interactive tours to museum guests, school groups, and help run the monthly Docent-Led tour for Asian Pacific Historic District Walking Tour on the first Sunday of the month. A weekly training class for 2 months will start in early spring. It's part virtual and part in-person.

Docents will develop public speaking experience, customer service skills, and enjoy thoughtful conversations about multicultural history with visitors.
