    Christian Volunteer Service with EKKLESIA Tanzania — Education, Special Needs & Community Ministry

    Serve, Learn, and Grow with EKKLESIA in Tanzania

    EKKLESIA is a Christ-centered ministry in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, serving children, families, and communities through Christian education, disability inclusion, discipleship, leadership development, and practical Christian service.

    We welcome Christian volunteers who desire to use their skills, experience, and gifts to serve alongside our local team while learning through meaningful cross-cultural engagement.

    Volunteer areas may include:

    • Early childhood and Christian education
    • Special needs education and inclusive learning
    • Child development and classroom support
    • Therapy-related support for appropriately qualified professionals
    • Music, arts, sports, and creative activities
    • Teacher and caregiver support
    • Family and community engagement
    • Christian discipleship and ministry activities
    • Leadership and capacity development
    • Administration, communications, digital media, and organizational support

    Who we welcome

    We welcome educators, therapists, ministry workers, students, professionals, retired professionals, and others with relevant skills and a genuine desire to serve.

    Volunteers should demonstrate humility, integrity, patience, cultural sensitivity, respect for children and families, and a willingness to work collaboratively with our local team.

    Our approach is based on Christ-centered service, mutual learning, responsible stewardship, cultural respect, and meaningful cross-cultural relationships. Volunteers are encouraged not only to contribute their skills, but also to listen, learn, build relationships, and understand the Tanzanian context.

    Volunteer roles and responsibilities will be determined according to the individual's skills, experience, availability, and the current needs of the ministry.
