    Job Description: As the Projects Finance Manager of Womenful Voice, your role will involve managing the finances for every project executed in Haiti. which includes donations from donors, such as in-kind donations, restricted and unrestricted funds, as well as contributions from members and staff. You will be responsible for managing the finance department, preparing documentation, and auditing the organisation's financial statements, ensuring on-time filing of taxes, timely payment of staff and contractors, and payroll documentation, financial compliance, and accuracy in reporting. Other roles include reviewing budgets, preparing and publishing annual financial reports for Womenful Voice USA, maintaining communication with contractor(s) responsible for executing projects to ensure proper bookkeeping and financial reporting of funded projects, and overseeing financial compliance for Womenful Voice Haiti.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations for Womenful Voice USA and Womenful Voice Haiti.
    • Budget Review: Collaborate with the management team to review and analyse budgets for Womenful Voice USA's projects and initiatives. Verify that budgets are aligned with program goals and funding restrictions.
    • Financial Statement Analysis: Regularly analyse financial statements of Womenful Voice USA, identifying trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.
    • Contractor Communication: Maintain regular communication with the contractor responsible for projects for Womenful Voice Haiti bookkeeping and financial reporting. Provide necessary documentation for accurate and timely reporting.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to donors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
    • Financial Compliance for Womenful Voice Haiti: Review financial reports from Womenful Voice Haiti, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines and donor restrictions.
    • Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits for Womenful Voice USA and Womenful Voice Haiti. Address audit queries and implement audit recommendations.
    • Financial Planning and Forecasting for Projects: Contribute to financial planning and forecasting processes, providing insights into financial trends and recommending budget adjustments when necessary.
    • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity.
    • Risk Management: Identify and address potential financial risks, proposing strategies to mitigate risks and improve financial processes.
    • Collaboration with the Treasurer: Work closely with the Treasurer to provide financial updates, support budget planning, and ensure transparency in financial matters.
    • Fiscal Policy: Update, review, and ensure compliance with the policy and identify threats and defaulters.
    • Recruiting: Work closely with volunteer resources to help recruit the right people for the right job by providing insights into their roles and responsibilities.

    Basic Job Duties

    • Lead and manage responsibilities.
    • Preparation of financial statements.
    • Collaborate with in-country staff and contractor(s) to ensure financial accountability.
    • Build and maintain relationships with in-country staff and contractors to maintain robust internal control.
    • Monitor and evaluate financial reports to identify potential risks and mitigate them

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in financial management, compliance, and reporting.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in financial software and the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
