    Location: Hybrid (Brooklyn, NY & Remote)

    Commitment:

    • Minimum 15 hours per week
    • Maximum 40 hours per week
    • 4–12 month commitment

    About FCCP

    Find Community Connection Project (FCCP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and communities through workforce development, mentorship, volunteerism, professional development, financial literacy, and community engagement programs.

    Position Summary

    FCCP is seeking a Volunteer Internship & Engagement Coordinator to help lead and support our growing team of interns and volunteers. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, building systems, facilitating meetings, and supporting professional growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as a point of contact for interns and volunteers
    • Review weekly work plans and progress reports
    • Conduct check-ins and provide support and accountability
    • Track project progress and participation
    • Assist with onboarding and orientation activities
    • Facilitate team meetings and discussions
    • Support leadership and professional development initiatives
    • Help foster a positive and engaging team culture

    Qualifications

    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Experience leading teams, students, interns, or volunteers preferred
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Interest in nonprofit leadership, workforce development, education, project management, or community engagement

    Leadership Expectations

    This role requires availability for weekly team meetings, participant support, and occasional one-on-one meetings with interns and volunteers. Most leadership activities take place on Wednesdays, with flexible scheduling throughout the week.
