Join our Advisory Board in the United States and help transform the lives of children and young people with autism and intellectual disabilities in Central America and the U.S.

Intellectual disabilities and autism affect thousands of children, young people, and families. Often, access to therapies, specialized education, and adequate support remains limited, especially in underserved communities.

At the Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala / Neurological Institute Foundation, we have been working for more than 60 years to provide educational and therapeutic care that promotes inclusion and improves the quality of life for children and young people with intellectual disabilities or autism.

Today, we want to take it a step further: expand our support networks in the United States and bring on board volunteers who wish to contribute to this cause through their ideas, contacts, experience, or motivation.

What does it mean to be part of the Advisory Board?

• Participate in a monthly virtual meeting
• Provide support through connections, contacts, and creating opportunities
• Contribute with ideas to strengthen sustainability and positioning strategies
• Be part of a network that fosters partnerships and international support

No prior fundraising experience is required. What matters most is your commitment and desire to contribute to a cause that transforms lives.

Únete a nuestro Consejo Asesor en Estados Unidos y ayuda a transformar vidas de niños y jóvenes con autismo y discapacidad intelectual en Centroamérica y EE. UU.

La discapacidad intelectual y el autismo impactan a miles de niños, jóvenes y familias. Muchas veces, el acceso a terapias, educación especializada y apoyo adecuado sigue siendo limitado, especialmente en comunidades con menos oportunidades.

En el Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala / Neurological Institute Foundation, trabajamos desde hace más de 60 años brindando atención educativa y terapéutica para promover la inclusión y mejorar la calidad de vida de niños y jóvenes con discapacidad intelectual o autismo.

Hoy queremos dar un paso más: ampliar nuestras redes de apoyo en Estados Unidos y sumar personas voluntarias que deseen aportar a esta causa desde sus ideas, contactos, experiencia o motivación.

¿Qué implica ser parte del Consejo Asesor?

• Participar en una reunión virtual mensual
• Apoyar con conexiones, contactos y apertura de oportunidades
• Contribuir con ideas para fortalecer estrategias de sostenibilidad y posicionamiento
• Ser parte de una red que impulsa alianzas y apoyo internacional

No se requiere experiencia previa en recaudación de fondos. Lo más importante es el compromiso y el deseo de sumar a una causa que transforma vidas.
