    Description

    Youth Mentor (Big for a Day) 2 Hour Fishing Event - Big Brothers Big Sisters

    Littles enrolled in our program and awaiting their permanent match and Bigs for the Day will learn fishing techniques, fish (catch & release) and eat lunch together! All equipment, bait, and lunch will be provided. A vegetarian option for lunch is available. No fishing experience is necessary. All levels are welcome.

    Event is taking place rain or shine. We have indoor space in case of inclement weather.

    Instructions:

    Event check in: For the safety of our Littles, if you haven't done so already, we will ask you to sign a consent form and ask for your driver's license so we can take a picture for your Big for a Day profile. And if you sign up for another Big for a Day event, you won't need to show your driver's license again.

    Please note:

    • You may be matched with a Little 1-1 or in a small group.
    • Please only register if you're able to arrive by 12PM and stay until 2PM
    • Lunch and drinks will be provided.
    • The fishing is catch and release.
    • If needed, please have your driver's license handy when checking in.
    • We will email you a confirmation as a Big for a Day for this event.
    • You may invite others to be a Big for a Day with you! However, please have them fill out this form as well.
