    Description

Join the Board of Coloured Art Studio

Coloured Art Studio is a community-rooted arts education nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, culturally responsive, and healing-centered art programs for youth and families. Through school partnerships, community classes, and public art experiences, we use creative expression as a tool for confidence, connection, and collective wellbeing.

In 2025, we served 500+ students, partnered with 4 schools/organizations, and delivered 7 programs/workshops across South Los Angeles and beyond.

Founded by an artist and educator with 11+ years of experience, Coloured Art Studio was created to address a critical gap in arts access—especially for Black and Brown youth whose stories, identities, and creative voices are often underrepresented. Our work centers art not just as skill-building, but as a pathway for social-emotional learning, cultural pride, and community advocacy.

As we continue to grow—expanding partnerships, securing public and private funding, and working toward long-term sustainability—we are seeking passionate, values-aligned Board Members to help guide the next chapter of our impact.
