    Description

    Organization: Spectrum Counseling & Mental Wellness

    Location: Portland, OR (Remote friendly)

    Role Type: Volunteer

    Time Commitment: 1–3 hours per month

    Organization Overview

    Spectrum Counseling & Mental Wellness is a Portland-based nonprofit psychotherapy clinic providing accessible, affirming mental health care, with a focus on serving LGBTQ+ individuals and people with disabilities. Our mission is to remove barriers to mental health services through compassionate, community-centered care.

    Role Description

    We are seeking a Volunteer Grant Writer to support our fundraising efforts by identifying and applying for small and mid-size grants. This role has a flexible schedule and a low monthly time commitment, while directly supporting access to mental health care for underserved communities.

    Responsibilities

    • Research relevant grant opportunities
    • Draft and submit grant applications
    • Track deadlines and submissions

    Requirements

    • Strong written communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Interest in nonprofit or mental health work
    • Experience with grant writing strongly preferred, but not required
