Event Volunteers

The Carbonauts Sustainability Foundation is seeking volunteers to help with events in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Fransisco.

We run regular in-person networking events to build community in sustainability. Our events host professionals working in all aspects of sustainability and climate and usually feature three speakers. Volunteering with us is a great way to build your network, get access to mentors, hiring managers, and learn about exciting projects.

Main responsibilities include:

• Supporting with venue set-up (may include light lifting/moving of furniture)
• Greeting and checking-in guests using our online event portal
• Capturing simple content for social media
• Wrapping-up event, packing up materials, and handing over the venue

Time commitment: 4 hours per event, typically 5-9pm on Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Volunteers are added to a roster, we reach out ahead of upcoming events requesting support, and volunteers can respond if they are available that day. There is no requirement to attend all our events.
