Unarmed Civilian Protection in Palestine (UCPiP), is a Palestinian and International co-led organization working to resist forced displacement in the West Bank by placing unarmed civilian protectors directly in Palestinian villages. UCPiP responds to invitations directly from communities throughout the West Bank. Our ultimate goal is to put 100 civilian protectors in the West Bank, and, when conditions allow, expend our work to Gaza.
At the moment, we have a pilot project consisting of a seven person cohort deployed in the West Bank, providing direct, nonviolent protection in the face of extreme settler and state violence. We are looking for dedicated prospect researcher(s) to work side-by-side with our grant writer and head of mission to help us find institutional donors so that we can expand our networks of protection and reach our goal of 100 civilian protectors as soon as we can.
