Donor Relations - Volunteer

Tellin' Tales Theatre is actively looking for an enthusiastic Donor Relations Volunteer to become part of our dynamic team. In this role you will collaborate closely with the development team at Tellin’ Tales Theatre. Key responsibilities will include helping Tellin’ Tales Theatre stay on top of engaging, thanking, and connecting with our donors. Experience with the utilization of DonorPerfect software is preferred. This position is responsible for working with the Artistic Director to support the data integrity of the processing of all donations, pledges, and acknowledgments through the database.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Database support for the donor database using Donor Perfect.
• Work closely with the Development Staff and Artistic Director to support the processing of all donations, pledges, acknowledgments, and necessary reports as requested.
• Build expertise using Donor Perfect and through online resources and training.
• Gift Processing & Acknowledgement of contributions.
• Maintain donor and gift records by accurately coding information into DonorPerfect and preparing gift deposits; investigate, then accurately and diligently update system discrepancies.
• Support the writing of acknowledgement and stewardship letters as needed.
