    Community Outreach Global Ambassador (volunteer/service-learning)

    Leadership, Personal Development, and Social Impact

    Location: Remote

    Type: Volunteer (5-8 hours per week)

    Duration: 3 months (minimum)

    *Service-Learning opportunity: Depending on your school, there could be potential to receive academic credit. Please contact your school advisor for confirmation.

    Role Description

    This is a remote role for a community outreach and engagement position. The role involves actively engaging with community members, building relationships to promote the organization's mission, and supporting community initiatives. Responsibilities include contributing to outreach efforts, creating and maintaining communication strategies, as well as providing excellent support to community partners and participants.

    This is a great opportunity for those seeking service-learning opportunities, being part of a global community, or international students wanting to build a community presence within their home country.

    Qualifications

    • Strong interpersonal skills to foster meaningful relationships and engage with diverse communities.
    • Experience in community outreach and community engagement to build and support community initiatives.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions and effective outreach efforts.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
    • Passion for social causes and a commitment to promoting personal growth and community well-being.

    Ideal Candidate

    • Passionate about personal growth, leadership, community development and social impact.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative, proactive, and open to learning.
    • Takes ownership of their role, personal accountability and contributes to strengthening the role.
    • Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
    • Background or interest in international relations, sociology, psychology, sociology, marketing, community development, communications, community engagement, nonprofit development, social impact, human development, research, or any of our Wellth Element topics is a plus.
