    Description

    Weekday Gallery Assistant

Lexington Arts and Crafts Society is looking for weekday gallery assistants for our Molly Harding Nye Gallery and gift shop. Gallery assistants will perform several tasks including: opening and/or closing the gallery, processing retail sales from the gallery show and the gallery gift shop, and acting as docents for the gallery exhibit. For each show you will receive an email of open and available shifts, and you can pick which shifts you would like in advance.

For training: You will have access to an instructional video and also have two binders at the gallery desk that cover sales, gallery rules, and information on the current exhibit. You will also get additional show information about any new exhibits during your first shift for that exhibit. Staff will be onsite in another part of the building as you volunteer, and are just one call away if you have questions.

Interested parties should reach out via email to coordinate an in-person interview. We look forward to hearing from you!
