    Description

Make a Change, give a Neighbor a Ride

The simple act of getting someone where they need to go can be an incredibly rewarding experience. We rely on caring and compassionate volunteer drivers to provide valuable rides to the people in our community who need it most. Every day, our volunteers make a huge difference in the lives of people around Portland.

We move lives by providing safe, personalized transportation for people who need it. By giving people the means to get around, we offer independence, inclusion and access to health care.

As a Ride Connection volunteer driver, you will create transportation access in your community. You will be the lifeline that helps older adults, veterans, and people with disabilities stay connected to their community and thrive. You’ll build relationships with customers, become the friendly face they look forward to seeing, and help us create a community where no one is left behind.
