Meet with Latino communities within the chapter boundaries

with a focus on increasing access, trust, and information while

performing core community engagement activities: community

meetings, neighborhood canvassing, neighborhood services,

partnerships, and neighborhood recruitment. Share information

about Red Cross services available to diverse groups through a

preferred community language.

Latino Engagement Team Members work with the chapter’s

Community Disaster Program Manager and will coordinate with

other disaster teams based out of the chapter (DAT, health,

mental health, SAF, preparedness).

• Requires cultural competency, knowledge of the

Red Cross, and a willingness to be the face of the

Red Cross in the community.

Time Commitment: 1-5 hours per week
