There are conversations that need more space than a public feed can give them.
Conversations between people who are going through the same specific thing. Grief that looks a particular way. An experience of identity that is rarely understood. A way of being in the world that most people cannot quite see. Those conversations need their own room.
SoYouAmI™ is a global community platform built by Invicta Child Foundation. Group Leaders create and lead those rooms — dedicated subgroups where members who share a specific experience, identity, or interest can find each other and go deeper.
Some groups you might create:
- Grief & Loss — for people who are mourning in any form, any timeline
- Expats & Diaspora — navigating life between cultures
- First in Your Family — being the first to go to university, emigrate, pursue a certain path
- Parenting Honestly — the parts nobody posts about
- Chronic Illness & Invisible Conditions — living with what others cannot see
- Recovery & Healing — from addiction, abuse, illness, or a version of yourself you had to leave behind
- Faith, Doubt & Spirituality — navigating belief, its loss, or its complications
- The Introvert's Room — life when the world is permanently a little too loud
- Your own idea — if you are asking 'would anyone join a group about this?', the answer is almost certainly yes
Here is what Group Leaders do:
- Propose and launch a group based on lived experience you actually have
- Post regularly inside the group — questions, reflections, prompts — to keep it alive
- Welcome every new member personally and make sure they feel included
- Host at least one group event or themed discussion thread per month
- Keep the space safe, honest, and on-topic
When you join, you get:
- A Group Leader badge on your profile
- A dedicated space built around your experience, led in your voice
- The experience of watching strangers become a community around something that matters
